This trail offers you not only sandy beaches, but a wide variety of wildlife and some of the most beautiful flowers during season. Starting the trail at the Spoegrivier caves and winding your way down to the base camp is an experience not to miss. There is also an optional stop for a wine taste at Lutzville wine cellar. Make sure you gear up for this amazing all inclusive hike with good hiking shoes and warm clothes for the evenings. Enjoyed every moment in an \"earthly heaven\", surrounded by flowers and all kinds of interesting fauna and flora. With the calming sound of the ocean as a constant companion. It is our motto to never repeat the same experience, since there are endless possibilities of new experiences to be had, but Namaqua Silver Sands Hiking Trail is of such an exceptional nature, that we would absolutely love to do it again. The campsite on the beachfront is  indescribably beautiful and immaculately kept. Dana, Mirna and Lenie are amazing and it soon felt like we have known them forever. With their warmth and kindness they made our trip extra special and memorable and the exquisite meals that they cooked for us, reflected all the love with which it was made.
